what it does for you
claude code normally summarises a full context, which loses detail. with this on, stale tool calls are scored and removed, and everything kept stays word for word.
the scoring is a service: each compaction sends the colony’s conversation to typesafe’s api.
what it needs
- the claude code settler
- a typesafe api key (JEV_API_KEY)
- being fine with the conversation leaving your machine for typesafe
how to turn it on
settings → modules on the claude code settler: the jev compaction switch. off by default.
how far it has been tested
this site records no colony run with it.
